Canine Camp - Fast Track Intensive Programs

What can often take owners months & sometimes years, Dogs In Bloom will do in just a few short weeks! We then transfer everything your dog has learned over to you! Guaranteeing a more successful happy life together! 

Canine Camp offers the most crystal clear and direct approach to your dogs learning process. With multiple daily lessons, structured social time in a home environment we build the foundation in our Basic Obedience program and proof your dogs work in the Advanced programs.

All of the Dogs In Bloom Camp programs include a level of “off leash” reliability using only high quality professional training equipment (equipment NOT included in prices listed below, average cost of remote collar $200.00)

2 WEEK PROGRAM

Basic Obedience and minor behavior issues

• Sit, Down, Stay

• Walking properly on a leash without pulling, barking, lunging, sniffing, or reacting to dogs and/or distractions

• Place - Go to an object (i.e. training cot or dog bed), lay down/stay until released

  • Helps your dog learn to have an on/off switch, impulse control, builds confidence

• No rushing thresholds - front/back door, car door, gates, etc...

• “Out” as in leave it/drop it/ move

• Recall - Come when called

• Boundaries - No fence jumping/climbing/digging under

• Potty training

• Crate training - no crate nonsense (barking, whining, etc...)

• Minor behavior issues

• All dogs are remote collar trained and will have some level of “off leash” training

*Dogs with more severe behavioral issues will be evaluated and placed in a 3-5 week program

3 WEEK PROGRAM (MOST POPULAR)

Basic Obedience & Additional week/time allotted to work on behavior issues

Includes all of the obedience training from the 2 week program plus more intensive training for more severe behavior issues, intro to off leash reliability & public work

  • Barking, jumping up on people, counter surfing, mouthing/nipping/biting

  • *Separation Anxiety/Fear/Confidence Building

  • *Resource guarding - objects, food, humans, space, etc...

4/5 WEEK PROGRAM

Includes all of the basic obedience and takes it to the next level! Enjoy more adventures with your dog while enjoying a happy, confident, obedient dog. Proofing your dog in real world situations - With more Distraction/Distance/Duration Real life settings - Public work - shopping, cafes, vets office, etc...Proofing all of the basic obedience while helping your dog work through more severe behavioral issues he/she may be having.

• Behavior Issues:

  • Includes all behavior issues listed in week 3 with more time allotted for continued work for more severe cases

• Proofing your dogs basic/advanced training/behavior issues in real world situations with more Distraction/Distance/Duration in real life settings (i.e. public walks, shopping malls, cafes, parks, markets, etc...

10 DAY PUPPY ESSENTIALS 

Puppies up to 16 Weeks 

• Name Recognition

• Introduction To Grooming (Paw & body handling, nail trimming, bathing, brushing, checking teeth & ears)

• Introduction to some of the basics - sit, down, recall & place

Each Canine Camp Includes:

• Communication - video/pictures/private phone calls

• Complimentary grooming - Bath & Nail Trim

• Complimentary transport (pick up/delivery if 30 minute drive. If further distance, arrangements can be made for an additional fee)

• Client education - training the owners how to gain leadership, properly communicate with their dogs, set up structure/boundaries while building a better lasting relationship

• (2) One Hour personal one-on-one training sessions with the client to transfer everything the dog has learned.

• (1) session at take home and (1) follow up session within the first 2 weeks of take home. *Additional follow up sessions can be purchased at a discounted hourly rate.
